What's the max power you guys are seeing out of the 68stg2r. Just want to get an idea on if I want to stay with this charger or do a ball bearing charger

780hp is the most I have seen with it personally here in house and I ran 11.27@120mph with it last year as a single on a stock motor with big fuel upgrades.

780! Madonna!!!! And I'm worried that my conservative 600hp is going to grenade the stock engine lol. This continues to be a great charger. The sound snaps the necks of every swinging dick that I pass by too. Lmao

Might keep this in mind I'm planning on adding my dual fuelers next year and am shooting for over 700 hp in the zf, also gonna be a stock engine. It's will be a sportsman and a stock cp3 with 45 over nozzles.

The 68r is an amazing charger, if you are looking to add more throw a charger on top of it. You retain great drivabilty/spool with the added power. I'm a little bias, but I'd give Mark a shout and ask about the results the 485s are yielding! :thumb:

How long you think those rods live?

Mine at 780hp ran 11.27@120mph and I left it like that and when we took the motor apart 6 months after I made that pass there was nothing wrong with the rods and pistons. Rod damage has to do with cylinder pressure and how and when it is applied to them. Torque is the issue.
