I’ve had a small oil leak/weap coming from my box stock S480 for awhile. I have a newer HSP kit that I bought used from a guy that had it over the stock turbo with stock fuel. It hasn’t been abused and it’s tight. I’ve put almost 10k miles in it. The kit has a -12an male drain that I have necked down to a -10 draining to the top of the oil pan near the starter.
I replaced the gasket but upon disassembly it looked alright I added a smidge of RTV around the drain hole. Put 30 miles on it and it looks like it’s leaking again. Possibly out of the exhaust v band. When I took the turbo out I didn’t see any oil in the exhaust or intake.
PCV is dumped to the atmosphere. Any tips or preferred gaskets your guys are using? The self undercoating of the frame rail was a nice feature during the winter but the drips in the driveway are getting old. Thanks for the help.
