Can you achieve 600 horse on efi tuning, intake and exhuast alone?

I haven't been on here in a while but I had my truck dyno'd the other day. I put down 655 horse power. There is a guy claiming he can tun a truck to 600 with efi live, intake and exhaust. He says he doesn't need a lift pump or a built transmission. Is this even possible and if so how long will it hold up for.

You can make a dyno read what ever you want. With that said, without a lift pump you wont ever see 600hp with just efi, intake and tune

Even with a lift pump and built trans i doubt you would be at an actual 600hp track proven

A "real" 600 hp at the wheels... no. And if he did, the stock trans wouldn't last... but at the ~400hp he's actually making is probably why the trans is living and he think's he's got it all figured out :)

I was able to get really close to 500 HP out of my dad's LMM with just a tune and 4" exhaust, but I can't see any possible way anybody could get 600 or even anywhere close to it. I doubt you could do it even with a lift pump and built transmission. I'm sure someone could get a dyno to say 600, but I don't believe it would be an accurate reading.

Ive got x2 cp3 and a billet s472 with stock injectors and stage 2 heads, well u can read my sig.... i made 578rwhp...lookin for some good inj tips 80-120% if anybodys got a set?? Lol

I think 600 is doable with a stock turbo and fuel (injectors and cp3) but you would have to throw every bolt on part they make at it to do so!

Didn't Dustin mintern(diesel addiction) dyno a LLY with a modded cp3,100% overs? I think it was like 603rwhp 1xxxft lbs. but like said above. People can manipulate a dyno to read whatever really.

Yes but we are talkin stock sticks and pump and even then dustin jad a lift pump on that truck ;) lol

:rofl: the tuner is "wickedcummins". He is definitely FOS. He got BBQed over at CompD earlier this year. Please dont invite that troll over here.

Nobody has gotten a tune/exh/int truck to 600, even with an overly-generous dyno. Dustin got close.
