What could cause the calliper slider bolt to not want to go in. Got it in but everything is to tight, holds the brake disk out of position.

Rotor was seated properly. Put those pins in and it throws it out.

Have 2 lug nuts holding brake disk on correctly but can make it turn by hand.

Was thinking I had one going before I started doing all my front end work.

Still a little tight. Probably the caliper but I am not spending any more on this thing.

Its the rubber bushing that was on the pin, its stuck in there. Normally you can get them out with a flat screwdriver and/or needle nose pliers..

This!! I have racked my brain with this before, until I finally noticed one of the bolts were missing the bushing. Its one of those things that are so simple but you get so aggravated you cant think straight. :banghead:

So they are suppose to stay on the pin.

I've never had them come out with the pin/bolt, but I have had a similar problem on a truck I did brakes on. A new hardware kit containing new bushings and bolts fixed it right up.
