Has anyone put an other then LML built short block in a LML duramax like an LLY block in a LML? use a built short block from a LLY and bolt the LML top end on it is what Im thinking.

So does it mount different or is it just the top end stuff? I will have a built short block soon and was thinking about buying a new new reg cab LML and sticking the built short block in with the LML top end minus the Emissions equipment. built trans and a big single.

If you use an 01-05 short block in an LML, you'll have to swap crank reluctor wheels. LBZ/LMM/LML is 58x tooth. LB7/LLY is 57x tooth.

If your gonna do this buy those 40% from silver king on here. Should be equal to 100% LBZ sticks...

Yeah tuning mine now and the pulse at WOT is 1100 or so. A small bump on pulse and some timing woke things up considerably. And I mean small.
