Belt in front. Called Merchant to ask his advise, and he said to replace it between 100-125,000 to get ahead of it.

Was nice talking to him again. Been far too long.
Sounds like the good engine then. If I was in need of a new truck that one would be quiet enticing

That's an awesome score, Tom. I've driven a few of those baby dmax trucks. I like them.

Nice Tom! I like the dimensions (not the word I’m looking for lol) between the cab and bed. Nice color too.

Weight loss + better tuning. Lower the front end back down an inch or so. Thinking about ditching the topper. Im more of a tonneau guy. The front deflector has got to go.

Then just "make it mine".

Got snow/ice on the trip to pick it up. Coming back, was getting 32mpg @ 55mph on DIC, so maybe high 20's in reality. I can work with that. Really comfortable driving truck. Smooth.

Some UpNorth company. But is it true that the colorado ecm can be read by efilive? I think I read that somewhere. If so, I might take a stab at it.

I believe so. I don't think they have it mapped out so no tables. But I think the ECM is supported for read and flashing. As long as someone has the CAX files you can do everything you can like the 6.6 Duramax tuning.

I do know one thing.....its not going to see the drag strip or pulling track.

Now to figure out what to do with BBT. Part it out or sell it outright? Never thought Id ever say that, but here we are.

My neighbor and I put his on a diet and he loved it. He put 30kish on it before getting rid of it. I want to say it got mid 30’s leveled on 33’s. It was a nice truck

I agree. The proportions of the short bed on that body style always looked a little odd to me. The longer bed is much nicer visually.

Bought regular steps and a tonneau yesterday. Put the lower airdam back on, too.
Took the front deflector off, and the hood has blemishes from it. Darn it.
Looks like when you use the eibach springs the lift is 2.75" on the strut lowest setting, so no adjusting that. If I use the oem springs i can get some adjustment on height. I'll wait til warmer weather for that job.
