Goerend R or Evans new Limitless 1074 would be good choices. I havent been around Evans new converter but I think it may be the real deal for the modded vvts.
I have a 1058 already in the truck with a stock turbo, looking to upgrade the turbo or mod the stock one, but would like to find one that works well with the 58

That's what my post was ment to explain. Due to how fast the 3794 lights, the converter won't give you negative driving characteristics other than when you start making more power with the new found air, you may blow through the converter more until lock up. This will be an issue with any turbo that you put on that increases power though
3794 imo would walk that 366 in every way except that "hit" of a bigger fixed vane. The 366 would obviously have more top end due to it being alot bigger and would make more power if put to its full potential but for a DD the 3794 would be better for someone used to the characteristics of a stock turbo truck
3794 is a 64mm vvt charger. So naturally it will out perform the 366 everywhere but top end.
The 4088 on my truck is a 63.5(64mm) charger but, being a ball bearing its almost twice as much as a S300 charger.
Down fall you loose turbo brake if you remove the vvt
3794/366 both can support 600+ hp though the 366 will do it better.
Heard lot of good stuff about the sxe s300
I have a little over 100k on my Danville 3794 on my hotshot trick and have zero complaints. Even at near stock power the spool up is great. Turbo brake works just as good as stock. And My egts went down a bit too. Best of all it sounds wicked!
