looking at possibly replacing my stock turbo on my lly.
What do you guys suggest for stock bottom end and stock injectors?
My turbo has 220k on it how long do the lly turbos usually last?
Been looking at the danville 68 and 66 mm turbos as well as the s366.
What do you guys recommend and why?
Thanks

I love my 366 single. wouldn't be afraid to run on as long as you get one with a 360 thrust bearing. they are very difficult to hurt on stock fuel.

how do they compare to the stock lly turbo or a 66 danville 3794
spools slower than a stock turbo but with much better top end. not sure how it would compare to a 3794.

I have over 40k on mine so far, still very tight. tows very well, sounds good.

pedestal, downpipe, oil feed and drain lines, intake, egr delete (usually), valley oil feed plug, hot side pipe (usually), s366 of choice, and tuning.

I do my own tuning for the most part, but anyone can tune for a 366.

is the y bridge and cold side pipe fine? or does that need changed as well?
Going away from the stock turbo you would want to do a complete u stall kit. A SXE 366 would be you best non VGT turbo option. They will be reliable. I have trucks with over 100k miles on the turbo with zero issues. Turbo of choice comes down to application and supporting mods. Make wise choices for your application and you will spend less money and be satisfied with the outcome. Tuning does play a important role end customizing your truck. Use a person you can get in touch with and do your part of getting it dialed in where you are happy with that as well.

I have a Danville 3794 on my truck and love it so far. Spools just as good as stock but moves a lot more air. I also have a full 3 inch y bridge, hotside, and coldside pipes on mine along with a 4 inch intake so that might make a difference also.
