Yes, no wif sensor wires at all. I plumbed a jug of fuel straight to the filter head after blowing lines out. Primed and cranked for a bit but fired up and runs great.

The puddle on the floor from cranking with the injector line loose is water, not diesel. Lol. I'd say he has a tank full of water.

Ficm has power and grounds. I don't have a scope. I'm gonna check the reluctor wheel and swap in another crank sensor.
Crazy thing, another one was towed in today. Crank, no start, but blows the ficm fuse as soon as you put a new one in. So that one will be easier to diag lol

Passenger bank is all 390psi or higher.
If i crack an injector line, it will not make more than a couple hundred pounds of rail. Just dribbles out rail while cranking. But as soon as I tighten line back up, it will go back to making 4500 psi. Which is less than desired but should not keep...
Customer says it shut off on the road, no prior problems. No hard starting either, the ether was used only after it shut off last week. Scan tool says it has cam signal but i can see the 12v reference wire at the CMP sensor connector is heavily damaged, if not broken off. Gonna start there...
The power cable running from the mega fuse to the glow plug controller is corroded off, so I wonder if he's been hosing it with ether for quite some time.....

A LLY was drug in here for a crank no start condition. It makes over 4k rail pressure while cranking, has cam signal, no smoke out tailpipe at all, wont run on ether. He has 2 cans on the passenger seat so im going to ask him if its had a hard start issue for while .... Any ideas?

Has anyone had luck with the DIY kit from Next Gen Drivetrain? I'm in the middle of the install with a customer supplied kit on a problem-free 2021 and i'm ready to back out of it and put it back to stock due to poor quality. Learn the hard way about customer-supplied parts sometimes.
I warn them as well. Whichever repair they initially arrive for, customers frequently are already aware of the other possibilities on an lml, so they come prepared to spend a boatload on preventative stuff while it's down for whichever repair is required.
Hard to schedule around this stuff...
Every lml that comes in for head gaskets has pistons starting to crack. The last 2 have been only on drivers bank, total of 5. All vertical cracks too.
