James, in your experience,would you say the NAPA version is better? Are they less likely to have the defective boots?

So far the boots have held up better. Straight axle ones still seem iffy to me

Ive always been suspicious of MevoTech. This kind of story just backs up my thoughts.
Only part Ive ever used from them is the lower control arm for that Regal I rebuilt, and only bc it was solid metal with no joints.

Well sadly, napa ncp part line has now been replaced by ncd which is all dorman made. Ive seen early failures from all these different part mfg’s accept krytonite. Not saying they dont have them but their failure rate is far less than any of the store bought stuff now. Fuckin sucks ass.
The amount of new part or 1-6 month old part failure at a shop these days is through the damn roof. I buy so much oe stuff to try to help stop that but even then, we still have issues.

That really is a shame. The Dorman parts are so bad I have often wondered how they make any money. The only thing I can think is that they are buying it so low and selling it so high that its still profitable.
Store bought Aftermarket parts are not what they use to be and that aint just “old man talk” 
Honestly I've had no issues out of Kryptonite. They're the "go to" option at my shop.
Ive yet to have one fail like a ttx so i dont think that is fully true
