Got a few issues to work out but it made it home

I do transport. I was laid-off in 2008 (before Obama (sorry throwing that in there because people have very short memories and I was laid-off from a direct decision from bush) and started my own transport business as the was no work at the time in New England. I got 70,xxx miles on the d-max since Feb. and have to more trips to FL this month.

On another note cleaned my door panels and removed my rusted speaker covers, yes rust on my speaker covers, and cleaned and sprayed them with a fresh coat of flat black rustoleum. Tell me what ya think.


I know its hard to see a difference but this shows it pretty well.

Bought one of those Meguiars headlight restoration kits and gave my oxidized headlights a go. Overall they turned out great but the kit only comes with one pair of sandpaper and it is pretty much spent after the first heavily oxidized light so i know they could have been closer to new but here are the results.

I recieved my performance oil filter from scott's. It a lifetime serviceable surgical grade stanless steel filter in a housing machined from solid billet aluminium.

Taught my ol lady how to drive mine today, she wrecked her car and will be driving my truck for the next week or 2. Wish me luck...

Very trusting First time I let the gf drive mine, she does a 100yd burnout up an offramp racing some ricer, rolls onto the freeway at 120mph and says "I want one".....

I think I need to let mine drive it all the time. Babies the hell out of it. The entire test drive, never even heard the big charger come up.
