When Mike did my trans I did not care what parts he used. I trust his work. 70k later and 500hp says he did it right, and I will go back for a refresh when its needed.
What is your problem? Anyone that wanted SC products were sent directly to SC. Price is the same correct? I mislead no one and nothing is written in stone at this point. You need to stay out of my business and worry about yours.

Suncoast has stalled new Dmax product development, or at least that's what the owner of Suncoast told me.
In the high performance world, you are either moving ahead, or you're falling behind.
I've bought quite a lot of Suncoast parts over the years (nope, they do not sponsor me, nor have they ever) and I'm even on their website. But if I want to go faster, Suncoast isn't going to help me. There are very few if any Suncoast parts on Casper that I know of anymore.
Parts is parts. I helped Suncoast quite a bit in exchange for them putting more Duramax stuff on the shelf for all of us. But apparently they have no interest in it anymore, so I'll help other shops who do.
It dont matter to me what suncoast dose, When my wifes transmisson craps, ill put mikes parts in it, When i decide to put an auto in my truck instead of the ZF, Mikes parts will be in it as well. i'll buy reputation and customer service over a brand name anyday!!

A little story about Mike... met him about 2 years ago refered by Pat. Get to his shop Mike asks how much power you wanna make? I say "500" he says "that ain't power" and goes on to give me a shpeel about Casper. I'm thinking cranky bastard doesn't give a shit... So he does me a ML 4 with a 57 in a day and off i go. Don't talk to him for months, call him up mid way into my build and say i wanna make allllottta power. Mike says "bring the trans over thursday". This was 6-8 months ago... I go to pick up the trans... he freshened it up... did a couple "updates"... and didn't give me a bill.
When i finished the truck it had a vibration, took it to his shop, he racked it poked around, drove it... commented on the converter, gave me a couple things to think about.
Long story short... Who else does a refresh, update, racks your truck, gives input for FREE? Not saying he would do this for everybody but still!
Who gives a shit about what transpires between Suncoast and Mike, cranky bastard can spec his own converters from a plethera of sources. The rest of the crap grows on trees.

mike was very helpful when me and bullfrogjohnson did my tranny. he also answered all the questions i had when i put the twins on the truck and was wondering about the tranny. when i need any tranny parts or help i will call mike.

When and if the ZF breaks im gonna do it, I have it tore apart now replacing the 4/5 syncros, everything else looks like new, but when it breaks its done!!
