Not sure :roflmao: the package on the website went down. Not really sure if the price of the tune is cheaper now or what.
I just looked closer, the price of the mpvi2 has gone from $800 to $300. It still shows as $800 at ppei, so if you plan on doing this make sure your get the mpvi2 from hp tuners. I dont know if that is where your seeing the price reduction, but that is a $500 reduction.

Agreed. Covid has slowed down visits but I guarantee they will be out in full force once it clears up. Couple shops in our area got the visit. Definitely not looking good.
After uninformed, irrespronsible front page articles about modded diesels like the one I read in the Detroit News a week or so ago, its not surprising the war on our hobby is ramping up again. The public's perception is being strictly driven by those in the media and govt with an agenda. Doing anything with a diesel truck nowadays is like bootlegging booze back in the 1920's.
That's how old man Kennedy made all their money. Then used it to put his kids in positions of power in our gov. Maybe a few well known tunners should run for Congress and represent their customers.

Who is the best option these days for getting a '24 tuned?
Ive used motor ops for all our work trucks but since I cant call them on the phone anymore im kinda learly of using a third party for their stuff...
Also is anyone using the mpvi3 for flashing or will I have to get this rtd4?

Motorops won't sell to the US anymore AFAIK. You can probably find a smaller operation who will do MPVI tunes still, but most of the bigger names are pushing the RTD really hard
Not what ive seen, specially with the mpiv4 being out now
The mpiv3 will unlock the 2024 ecm and flash it. You can easily get tunes for it too.
As far as I know, 2 of the main tuning companies for 24+ won't touch an MPVI3. You must run an RTD4 or MPVI4 to get their files.
I'm not aware that 24+ can be direct flash unlocked yet. 18.5-23 yes, but the 24+ are mail-in unlock
