100% turbo limp. On my dad’s LMM with a 65mm the turbo was making more than commanded boost going up hill. Most tunes have the number of seconds until it checks itself maxed out that’s why you don’t have the issue driving around.
I put my vin in and looked through every thing, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for. It gives me part numbers and cvn numbers and a description for each one, but not sure what any of it means.
Put your vin in here and you can see what OS need for your truck.
How would I get in touch with either one of them for help?Yup, the only fix is if efi live put the tables in or you have to go into the bin file and get them your self. Kory most likely has them or Blake may as well.
It sounds like your limp issue is somewhat common but the solution requires changing tables that have not been mapped by EFI Live. You’re gonna have better luck if you pay someone reputable for a new file.I put my vin in and looked through every thing, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for. I would like to learn to write tunes but I think you are right. Those are your different segments of your ECM. Your base file you would need to start with would have to have the same numbers.
I believe this is what my lmm did also I think it’s the ecm or tune dealing with the same issue nowThe infamous lmm low boost limp. It’s in the tune, it’s gonna be hard to find someone who can tune it out. My lmm almost got me killed me in Virginia going up a decent grade pulling a large boat. It’s dangerous when they limp out and traffic behind you can’t tell what’s happening. I had my buddy sit in the passengers seat with a code scanner plugged in ready to clear it out when it would happen. I think Mark may have figured it out.
