I'm always on the lookout for a ZF6 for my 2001, and I came across this:

Am I right to understand that this is a Duramax to Ford ZF6 factory adapter?
I did see that fords suffer from the same tail-housing issue as our dear ZF's, which got me thinking, what other options are out there for manual swaps? I've seen NV's thrown around here, but limited talk on them. My Allison is still holding pretty good, but I know I'll need to rebuild her before too long, and for half the cost of the rebuild I could probably have a fresh stick from under the firewall.
I'm not a racer, just looking for something with more control than my Allison is giving me. We have a travel trailer we like to tow every few weekends, it's under 8k lbs.
