Nice work Jason!

I believe there a few companies that sell the lines already done if you don't want to fool with it.

Driven Diesel sells a kit using hydraulic line like Jason did. DD-DMX-PS-KIT

DHD has a power steering line kit that uses braided Stainless line. DHD 600-540C They do say the pump noise may be increased with there kit though...

It's a non-website sku. They've done a few kits for me in the past. Shocker is an AN line/fitting company.
Ah, ok that makes sense. I did find the Company just couldn't find a kit So wasn't sure if they were selling a conversion kit or if they had a pre made lines ready to go.

What’s the temp rating of the hose you used?
Well common "3k" hose that local farm Hyd shop uses is weather head h280xx. I also installed a ~"20,000lb" plate fin trans cooler as well since OEM never came with a PS cooler and swapped fluid to basic cheap ATF

Screenshot of the specs
Temp range -50F°-260F°

Since it's substantially more open and more veiwable.. the setup on my '75 GMC square body.. haven't stuck a PS cooler on it yet as it's not road worthy yet..
I used 90° fittings as I had room, 120° probably be ideal around the booster and keep the 90° at the pump and box

For whatever reason I didn't do this on my 09 LMM.. but lines were not shot or leaking.. probably chucked it in to the "they're in working not leaking condition don't need replaced yet" box

Seeing as the output from the trans can see 220-230 degrees regularly I was considered about the regular hyd hoses holding up to the heat but seems you folks are seeing no issues.

I have 270 degree hose available to me so I might make up a few kits for some friends.

I used the same type hydraulic hoses on the transmission too and no leaks or signs of weakness
