Does the BD stuff have a warranty?

IDK, just saw it few weeks ago, as a possibility. I know it didn't exist when I had my 07 LMM and definitely not with my 01 LB7
Napa quoted for their premium studd..~1200 for all ball joints, inner/outer tie rods, center link, idler/pitman arm, idler arm support.

I went with the PPE inner/outers because I needed something right away as the OEM were not very good and also had to do upper control arms at the same time.

I did get some New Kryptonite Stuff that I plan to install in the future. But I am working on doing a drivetrain swap right now...

Ran oem stuff on my 07.5 hotshot think I replaced everything once in the ~400k I put on it, but I was rarely in 4*4.
My 01 suburban has 448k on it got it with 251k think went through everything but lower ball joints shortly after I got it

Mine only had 120k ish but the OEM rubber was dry rotted when I got the truck.

After I get the Drivetrain swap completed and installed, I would like to rebuild the front.

No I bought an LLY at the end of 2016. Around this time last year I bought a wrecked LBZ donner truck exact same color and options. Pulled the engine to reseal it and found it need some additional work... One of the Cylinders had oil in it so I sent the heads out for reconditioning. When those came off I found pitting in 2 cylinder walls... When I measured those cylinders near the pitting they were already out of spec... then I pulled the rods and didn't like I what I saw there... So Like every project, it spiraled out of control real quick...

I finally have the basic long block back together after many set backs....

Down to brake lines, IFS on the front, transmission cross member Left to do
Picked up Torsion bar T-bolt removal tool.
Haven't touched back end yet. That's relatively easy work compared to the front.

IFS fought it's out, A-arms, T-bars and T-bars cross member is all currently one piece.. I'll split those apart at a later date

Well, heavy lifting is done, need to get new body mounts and get the middle ones fixed.

Lows in the 20s highs around 40. Which is really cold for my southern friends lol

Finish stripping the old frame of brake system, rear chassis electrical, fuel tank, axle, hitch bumper.. might try pulling the bed..
Lower A-arms, TBars are frozen need to get those split .
pretty sure got lucky with steering parts, they'll get replaced but not right now.
Then is replacing the neglected stuff,
Body mounts
Front brakes
New supply/return fuel lines
Transmission lines
Power steering lines
U-joints,
Exhaust,
Shocks,


Like to put L5P engine oil cooler on it. Along with assorted go fast goodies I've got stock piled. Possibly my old GT4088R back on..

Main goal is get it moving

Tried pulling lines out of the ABS Module.. 3 of the 6 lines ripped open showing rusty innards.. so get to make new lines. At least I got something to trace.

Tried to drop fuel tank, rear strap bolt rounded.. so off with the bed.. of the 8 bolts holding it on..2 got torched, and at least 1 maybe 2 twisted off..

I dislike rust belt, but I dislike heat more lol

I haven't found a set for the 09-10 trucks, YET, I do know they ran 2-5/16 from MC to ABS and 4-1/4 from ABS to wheel.
Stringing lines would be really quick with nothing on the frame

Brake line kits should all be the same 01-10, shouldnt they? I remember Ben comparing the frames back in 2008 when the NBS came out, and there wasnt anything (or very little) different? I dunno....its been 15 years....

The 07-10 trucks went to 4 channel ABS vs older is 3 channel. So instead one line to the rear and split in the axle there's 2 lines to the rear axle
There's a lot of stuff same and a lot of stuff different between my 07.5 LMM and this 09 LMM

Nah, I know pictures is wrong out the gate though, most likely just a "stock picture that doesn't accurately represent said product"
I've seen enough nuance difference in the platforms to question finer details..

Example for 01-10 trucks there are 4 different engine options... Fleece and I found out there actually 7-8 different blocks not counting the Kodiak stuff.

My 07.5 LMM has 2 engine coolant temp sensors in the the T-stat housing. Most only have 1 sensor

Summit's Ohio store is ~2.5hr drive for me. I'm sure I'll be making I drive up there.
Not saying they don't make a set, definitely worth few phone calls at a minimum

I put in as an 09 2500HD WT model. also selected the Ext cab option. the only issue I see according to the fitment is they list it fitting both Extended cab and Crew cab options with the 6 1/2 ft bed.
