Funny I was about to discuss that in my next post.
Truck is already lowered with lowering keys and shackles/ hangars. Although it can and will get lower
Today was an eventful day for the regular.
Step one was trim the fenders and take the shock extenders off. Yeah it had shock extenders for a leveling kit on a lowered truck.
Also backed the torsion bolts the rest of the way out to see how low it’ll get
then put them about halfway back in. I ended up lowering it about an inch in the front to give it the rake it needs back.
I painted the front half of the frame while I had the front wheels off.
Installed my spare gauges I had laying around. Just a simple boost and pyro.
My buddy that was picking up my console text me about 1 and said he was back to town with it so I pulled the interior out and started cleaning. I ended up stripping it down to the cab floor since it was so bad under the seats. I wish I had taken a before picture.
I soaked the carpet in totally awesome and took it power washed it. Wow you can wash a lot of shit out of one.
While I had the seats out I used what sound mat I had left from another project on the rear cab wall.
I’m still waiting on the carpet to dry but I cleaned the entire cab as clean as it can be then re installed the seats. Man the console seat makes my other seats look like trash.
About the time I got done with that fedex showed up with my new headlights. Also during the day I repainted the condenser and the rad support bar behind the grill.

Amazon ordered some more sound may this evening before the cut off and will have it Saturday. Hopefully ordered enough to do the rest of the cab.
