I bet you could get it to lite faster than a stock lbz charger too. This turbo gets all too often overlooked imo

I think you can find the ppe kit for 3600 maybe less. I know the ppe kit comes with pretty much every nut and bolt, gasket and clamp. As far as the turbo by itself, idk. I think the 4088r is in the same class as the bw 300 charger, again idk that fer sure, but alot of guys like the bw s300 too. I like the ball bearing garrett, just cuz(personal preference)

You eliminate the vgt, and the 88 uses a t3 or t4 flange, either way a new pedestal is required, coolant and oil feed line and oil return... all that stuff is already been done up nice and backed by ppe, im sure there are others, like EPR and whatnot, so be sure to check your options, epr makes some really really nice kit/product as well, epr is definitely a higher end finish/more custom

I didn't like my 4088R changed it to a 4094R. Was a pretty nice unit then. The problem with the PPE kit is you have to fab your own intake. Too expensive if you were to buy new. EPR offers great kits, powder coated and all.

I passed on the 4094va, so it sounds like an s366 maybe or a 4088 or 4094. I take it the 366 isn't ball bearing? I was looking at the epr setups, does the base one come with the clipped wheel? Is there a garrett off the shelf that compares, I do have a pump/turbo shop near me. If I bought an install kit I could do it in 2 steps to keep the old lady off my ass. I hope I don't miss the turbo brake. Been thinking more about twins again, still think at this time a single and add twins later if needed. keep it simple. I really don't get into too much elevation and my trailer brakes work good so I can live without the braking. Who has the best pedestal? HTT, PPE, ATS? How about an aurora 3000?

Oh yeah, do any of the install kits come with the intake heater delete/egr delete? I might as well get that out of the way also. I keep the pace if I keep the pace I've been going it will be really soon. Send me some more Arneson.

i talked to quite a few 4500/5500 guys on the place 400hp tow tune and a 4088 madea big difference.. they also make a non bb 4088.

IMO for heavy towing/dd i would have a hard time running a S400 based charger
the 4088R has done 600+hp

for a great DD turbo a 64-66mm variant can make enough power to bend stock rods with 2xcp3 but not over whelem a stock or modifed cp3
when i broke back in april budy towed me from GA to OH has a phat shaft 66 injecters and dual cp3s 4.10 285/70/17 tires.. gcvw23,000lb got 10mpg and manully bumping out of OD if less then 70mph climbing a grade. granted 5.9 is smaller then 6.6 IMO even with the efi live tuning it was too easy to get under the turbo.. IIRC LBZ is a 60-62mm charger

U already said u want simple. S366 or s371. Either one will be a huge change for ya. Trent can hook ya up. U could even call him, he probably would recommend a kit for ya with what u are lookin for.

I would do twins with the stock charger best of both worlds. And for towing you cant beat them. I think it would be hard to get 11s out of any chargers that have been discussed and stock compounds can with the right amount of fuel and tuning. Jmo
