Other than the set I have seen on Merchants website for $40, does anyone know where to pick some of these up? Mine are fubared from constant in and out with no antiseize or anything on them.

Don't use normal bolts. Yes they will wear out when adjusted frequently, so use anti-seize on them. Never adjust with the tire on the ground.

Yeah I only used anti seize when I remember it at the track:eek:. I always jack up the front end but its just bound to wear out I guess.

i am using Fastenal's Grade 8 bolts with the tips ground-down like the stockers...my stockers were so fubar-d that they snapped with about 40ft/lbs of torque on a rachet..i had to weld a longer bolt to it to get the rest of it out....i take them out with the truck on the ground and i put them in with the truck in the air

Torsion Bar Nut and Bolt

Price: $19.00

Item Number: 11561233-15530026
Manufacturer: GM

Those of you that move your torsion bars up and down for competition use may find that over time the bolt will strip out. A coating of anti-seize will help prolong the life, but inevitably the bolt will wear out. Replace them with new pieces at the first sign of trouble to prevent the likely hood of breaking the bolt off in the nut.

Order quantity 2 to do both sides.
