Of the stack that is. I just installed it 7" miter cut single Grand Rock Stack. Painted high temp black. It is really just a heat sheild. I used it to cover up the 6" Borla muffler and 4" stub stack. I wanted to keep the muffler because I like the mellow tone of it. No crackle. Plus PA is cracking down on in bed stacks. You must have a heat sheild. I was going to trim 6" of it making it 42" tall but it looked good the way it was and I was feelling Lazy!

Sorry the pics are dark I will take more in the morning.;)

Looks good as is, but I think it would be better at cab height or and inch or so lower....

So how are you mounting the outside pipe and managing water with the "stack in a stack?"

I might trim it down yet. I was going to cut it at 42" but got lazy.

The muffler is welded to a plate. The plate is bolted on to the bed floor. The stack slides over the muffler and sits on the plate. The stack has 6 nuts welded on it. 3 about 3" up from the bottom and 3 about 18" up. I ran bolts in each nut threw the stack to clamp on to the muffler. It seems to be pretty rigid.

The mounting plate has a hole drilled in it for drainage. I need to get me one of those snazzy "Runnin in the Red" stack covers like NWPADMAX has.

I like it.

You could cut it down to cab height but I think it looks good the way it is.

Sliding a muffler inside the stack is genius. Straight stack can get a bit annoying on longer drives.

By the light of day, I'm not so sure I still think it should be cut down. Looks great.

Guess I'll have to see if I can shake out of work early on Thur and make the run over to Stoneboro and see it in person to decide....:D

I think it looks pretty good, but if we're voting, I say cut off 5"-6".

I would be proud to have that stack sticking out of my garage for my oil burning furnace!
:)

I am not a fan of stacks that are not all the way to one side of the side of the bed, but that looks good. Height is about right. Maybe a couple inches tall.

Looks good John.. I'm with some of the others though, and think I'd cut it down a bit.

I'm interested in knowing some more about this muffler you have in there though...
