This weekend i had to replace my alternator. In doing so the intake hose had to come off. I loosened all the clamps and pulled on it. All the clamps are worm screw except. The one clamp is a crimp clamp, and it came off the tube. No way to get it back on and no one can tell me what clamp to use. GM wants me to buy the whole hose at 212 dollars. So anyone else run across this and what did you do. I don't think ther is room for a worm clamp

I've been able to reuse them a few times. But if you cut yours off or mangled it up and need a replacement. Take a look at PEX clamps. Might find the one you need at a plumbing or hardware store. Landscaping supply is another option. I tighten mine with end cutting wire cutters or "nippers" but they do make a special too for them too
