Call Jeremy, he will point you in the right direction. There are several guys running the heads here that have first hand experience of his customer service. There becomes a point with a competition setup warranties do not apply, but he was very good about taking care of everyone. :thumb:

That's probably not going to happen with stock head's!
The top 3.0 guys are 1800+, and rumored 2K+, but they are pretty tight lipped about dyno #'s.
I think you would find quicker spool, lower peak egts, and more power in the upper RPMs. I don;t think the stock heads will ever be able to flow enough to support your power goals. Talk to the source and call Jeremy.
Have you looked into the Edge box with hot unlock?
The edge is nice, but its no Bullydog with the "Crazy Larry" tune!:thumb:
Based on my research I should be able to run them in a stacked configuration to attain maximum soot? Would this be a good route to take or should I get an electric ebay fan turbo to boost my boost instead?
The heads on my motor are factory LB7 heads that were CNC ported by Wagler with over sized valves and I don't think I could make more than 1300-1400 hp with them. Spend the money now or you will wish you did!
You're short on fuel by a lot, and if your worried about spending the money on heads you need to reevaluate what it is realy going to cost to build a 3.0 truck

Perhaps a better question would be to ask how much air they flow. What's the CFM rating on these heads and then compare that to the CFM on the heads you have or the heads you are considering buying. Then you will be comparing apples to apples. HP numbers are dependent on too many other factors to attribute any gains to one particular part.
If you're going to compare CFM numbers, you better make sure they were checked the same way. On the same equipment would be the best.
What part of the country are you in? Just out for fun or do you want to be competitive? If you're trying to be serious, the 3.0 class is pretty serious almost anywhere in the U.S. IMO, you'd be wise to bolt a set of these heads to your truck.
If you're into learning, build your setup with OE-based heads, strap it on a dyno and let 'r rip. Tear it down, strap on the waglers and redo the dyno tuning sessions and see if your peak and area under the curve increase. I predict they'd both be considerably higher, especially the area under the curve above 5000rpm. :thumb:

It's an air limited class. Your only going to make so much hp with X amount of air. However finding the correct combination of parts can net gains. Typically cams do nothing but change power curves. High flowing heads and large cams make hp in higher rpm ranges and require engine to spin higher then a smaller cam and lesser flowing heads.
400's are fine for 3.0" class and said hp goals. 1800 is stretching it though for 3" power. All though dynos do vary.
All first hand experience Dyno testing.
I do recommend the edge hot unlock code for all Dyno testing also.

Don't expect people to spill their knowledge of what works and what doesn't. The pulling world is very competitive and customers like ours spend a lot of money testing and trying new things to find what works and what doesn't. And it doesn't get handed out for nothing.
Look, if you really want to be competitive you have to go overhead cam heads. All you need to do is retrofit some 4 cylinder VTEC heads and you'll be dominating in no time.
