Me too. I really like that routing better. That should just be standard.

Not sure if this will help anyone but this it the way I ran my belt and got rid of the fan. I use a belt from Carquest they had in stock. I will get the number off the belt tomorrow when I'm at work. I will also get a pic of the van t-stat housing Joe at HSPDiesel modified for me to clear the belt.

Here is a pic of the housing that Joe modified to clear the belt. I use a Gates K061369 belt.

For future reference, the gates K061490 belt worked for the 149" routing. Not a huge DAYCO fan so I switched to the Gates and will keep the DAYCO for a spare. FWIW I got the gates belt from RockAuto.com for $39.99 and oreileys can get them but they are around $60 from them

Not sure how much room I had to make up. But I did shave off the part number on the housing.

Thanks! I just thought in previous posts they had clearance issues with the taller oil fill tube. Can't wait to get mine, it makes the engine bay a lot cleaner.
