LB7: Valve cover removal

On my 02 it took me around 18-20hrs to change the injectors and put it all back together. Take off about 1hr for swapping the injectors and thats about how long it should take, I didn't have air though. Its not too bad of a job though, just time consuming getting all of that crap out of the way.
i had my injectors out and back in in about 12 Hrs. Job is not hard if you come prepared with the right tools. Why are you studding it? any reason? Stock bolts are good for about 50 PSI. Also the driverside back studs are a pain to get in with the motor in the truck. Personally i wouldnt waste the money or time on it. The stock rods will go before the heads need studs IMO. I will only stud mine when i pull the motor to build it.

i wouldnt worry about it rods WILL shorted 9 time out of 10 before heads lift
single cp3 will have a hard time lifting the heads. even with twins
50 is usually the lifting point.
it will take 60 in short burst :rofl:
and the turbo(ihi) will take 2,000+*f in short burst as well :rofl:
