Ken's issue was they had LB7 torque labeled on the package for a 04.5-10 hold down.Hey Ken, In another thread, a person had issues with SoCal injector holddowns breaking. Was it you who had issues with those parts in the past?

I did know they built more than 1.Thanks for the link.
That one is #4 build if I recall.
Oh wow! I had no idea.I had totally forgotten about that article. That is early press on the warlock. Ya can tell because the charge cooler was half the size in those pictures, and was modified before I bought it. Andrew from injectors direct bought it for me, off this forum, then changed the colors. It's currently waiting for me to fly out and reassemble it. Which I plan to do that this spring.
The one in Havasu is actually the boat I know the least about. There is 3 Dmax boats on that lake. Other 2 are ones I've personally worked on. Looking back, I should have bought the pontoon boat the wife wanted..

Some life things came up, and put progress on hold for a few months.
But yesterday, I hit up a buddy with a new white GMC and said, "ya wanta move the Duramax boat?" A rare sighting, only the second time spotted in the wild..
So there ya have it. Thinking maybe it matches better than the old King Ranch.

Yes but they have updated bits that can leave a nicer finish on aluminum. That's an old head/block cutter, likely older than you or I. But it's one straight cutting tool. Which is goal one..
When I dropped those heads off, I noticed the bolt holes center low, were oblong, not round. Pretty sure that's not a casting thing?? lol..
This is what I do! Anything 1200hp+ gets o-ringed on the block side and 625s. I've yet to have an issue myself up to the ~1600whp area.Smoother the better, you want as much surface tension as you can get on it as it is less likely to be able to leak past it! Oring the block and 625+ studs and Victor Reinz/Mahle grade C gaskets and all the gasket issues you've had will be a thing of the past. All the 1200-2000hp engines we've built over the years and gaskets leaking hasn't been an issue with them.
