Truss the trailer was causing a lot of bucking/hopping on rough roads.. (Center bouncing up and down...really bad when I had heavy weight small footprint items like that press.. It's so far back it causes my gn to handle like a bumper pull all of the weight on the trailer tires and nothing on the drives. Then the trailer flexes like a wet noddle between load and neck compounding an already rough ride..
^said load was first load I hauled with truss.. Its 8,000lb 80" long and 50" wide.. The yellow paint is the 1/2 way between tires and pin. Normally I'd have the load another 2-3' aft for ride quality.. I have noticed loads that are 20-25' long ride better than 4-20' of same weight. Educated guess load length stiffens the frame.
Hope that makes sense
Here's a load I just loaded. Only 6 more loads like this for today. check out the tires....also don't mind the hyd oil all over the back of the cab or the stream coming off the trailer from the leaking lines on the wench.
