This weekend @ Fontana

I should show and race , fixed the intercooler .
Is it already going on today . Usually starts friday with 2 trial runs for time , then sat you get 1-2 more time runs before racing , then eliminations start , then sun is finish of eliminations . Put it out there to SoCal club to go , but needed to get the word out sooner .

Chris ?? ... I figured youd be there for sure . Thats a given .
I wish they would do this at Pomona like before 3 years back . I personally think Fontana Sucks .
Parking area and getting in and out is a pain in the rear . The show is spread out to much . The way they have it set up , last year I never even went to other side and looked at all the show vehicles .
At Pomona they are in between the track and pits . Was really a good place to do it . It must cost to much to do it at Pomona .
Crap .... this means I have to detail the big pig ....... I'll brew on it today and decide .

They finally started running 1/8 about an hour ago...Too much wind for 1/4...We're gonna run at 5...

Didn't go so well today...We've been chasing a problem with the ignition timing moving around making power drop...Ran a 8.01 @ 168, took it back to our pit and pulled the magneto and offset drive apart and found our problem...The hex drive has stripped causing the timing to go 5-8 degrees retarded on the burnout...
Good news-We finally found out
Bad news- We gotta track down parts or possibly a new drive so we can run this weekend...

I remember this event, we went last 2 years, but not this year obviously. Sucks that you have to find parts chris but good luck on some awesome times tomorrow

Been on vacation looks like I missed all the fun. Congrats Chris to you and your dad. Would like to have seen it.
Thanks Steve...We lost 1st round, ran a 7.588 to his 7.601...We're in good shape for next weekend...
