IIRC, passwords are encrypted in vB software. It's the only thing that is. You can "reset" someone's password, but the admins cannot retrieve it. Unless the hacker is real computer programmer, he can't do anything; few are more than script-kiddies who read about a hack then follow the instructions.
But just to play it safe, it would be wise to change passwords.
Rob, if you guys are interested, I am willing to help backup off site. I have a 1TB external drive I could spare plenty of room.
Rob, when you backup off of the server, you using Putty (SSH)? I think that would be the fastest method from what I can see.
Site is back to pretty much normal now.
We lost all info posted between May '08 and Dec. 22.

Personally...I wouldn't put it past the guy that crashed it a couple of years ago...and blamed us.
