HAPPY HOLIDAYS. JUST LIKE THE TITLE STATES IM LOOKING FOR ANYONE WHO MIGHT HAVE A STOCK TUNE DOWNLOADED THAT HAD THE UPDATED CALIBRATION DONE FOR THE LBZ AIR FILTER HOUSING FROM THE DEALER/FACTORY SPS INSTALL DONE. IT WAS BACK WHEN THIS WAS GM'S STAB AT THE OVERHEATING ISSUES CUSTOMERS WERE HAVING WITH THEIR LLY'S IN CERTAIN DRIVING CONDITIONS AND CLIMATES. AT ANY RATE THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN OFFER ON THIS. ALSO, IF ANYONE MIGHT KNOW HOW TO TELL IF A STOCK LLY TUNE HAS HAD THIS FACTORY CHANGE IMPLIMENTED TO IT ALREADY? THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL AS WELL. THANKS AGAIN.

...or maybe someone who knows LLY tuning could tell you how to modify the MAF table (or tables) to accommodate the larger filter/air flow so you could do it yourself?

Sorry about the caps, it's a work thing. I need an unmolested piece of factory software, living in CA with a diesel is tough these days.
My truck is and engine swapped lly with the complete lbz intake system to the mouthpiece of the blow dryer. My current smog tune is a MAF adjusted tune and has worked great for a lot of years, but just recently I've helped an old customer of mine with a lly engine swapped 2007 1500HD gas truck done all above board with the state involved in 2008 and bought off smog legal until last year. It took us a year of going back and forth with the state due to a minor adjustment to his tune to correct a CEL due to the doner truck being dual fuel tank and his 2007 not being dual tanked. It appears the state has complete access to check all the software part numbers and check sums when you go in for your test these days. I didn't have any issues last year at smog time with my smog tune and its small adjustment to the MAF table but I'm a little worried this year after all that i went thru with my buddy. My truck is tow pig stock these days beside a nice little daily driver tow tune that's run in between smog visits. So, i took a long shot to see if someone might have a stock lly tune from a truck that had gm's round air filter upgrade done at the dealer. Thanks for all the responses, and yes how did you forget about one of the meanest looking and great performing Duramax's from back in the day, LOL. Thanks again.

I'd look through the tune library and see if there is any there. I couldn't tell you which one you need. But someone here probably knows the calibration or OS number.

I may have it, I'd need a VIN.

If not, I can flash a module to that specific calibration and pull a read if needed from GM. I do not have any used/spare E60 modules here so you may have to send yours to me to do so.

Personally, if it's a nightmare to get, I'd put an S&B or Banks on it and move on with life. Neither should require a MAF update and will pass your SMOG tests just fine.

It won’t be the same unfortunately.

The only thing that would be usable would be the MAF scaling but then it still won’t be a bone stock GM file that was used under the TSB.

06 LLY uses an E35A controller and shares nothing tune wise with an 04.5-05 LLY running on the E60 controller.
