Anyone who knows stall speed for stock lb7 converter?
I se 2500rpm with brakes on before wheels break loose.
350-400hp on engine.
Are on the trigger for limitless self build, and very unsure witch converter i should choose.
The 2000rpm or 2300 from limitless.
Limitless recomend 2300 for performance, and says 2000 will work fine.
Truck is used for dd and towing.
After build it will be tuned.

Sorry for my bad english, still an norwegian

Stock stall speed will vary greatly depending on the amount of power you put through it. I want to say it is around 2100-2300 rpm's for a stock converter. The other thing you have to keep in mind is the stock converter isn't the best at multiplying torque where aftermarket converters can do a better job of it. That said, I'm running an 1800 stall in my mostly stock LB7. I personnally like the lower stall for around town driving, but I'm running a stock turbo, and have no plans of running a turbo much bigger even if I change turbos. Since I went to the 45 over sac injector nozzles, I've been even happier with the lower stall converter.
