Hey everyone, been awhile!

I’m trying to clear up some idle haze. While logging the rail pressure is showing 190mpa column highlighted in the main injection pulse table. V7.5 scan is showing correctly, but you look at the tune tool while I have idle frames highlighted it shows 190 instead of around 40mpa. This is the only table I have trouble with that I know of. LBZ btw

Any ideas?

Mine will do the same thing sometimes. Won't track correctly

If I recall correctly, as it's been years, I thought Paul or Ross said something about it being a miss match between the tune in the truck and what you have open on the laptop. Or maybe it was the incorrect PID. But never could fully resolve it on my end.

Are you using stick injectors? Single best method is more fuel pressure. But if stock you should have enough from what I see. Timing can help too. I've used up to 4 degrees. But should be clear even at 0°. The other one is pilot. Might need to close up the delay. But if you get too close it might act like one larger pulse. But you should be able to hear that as it will sound like an old school zero pilot diesel. If none of these help then probably injectors causing it

No 350% over injectors. Still hazes at 10,000 psi rail pressure. I have it running 4 degrees timing at idle. With such large injectors I could never figure out how to lower pulse on pilot, it’s running like 280us iirc when main pulse is 330 in idle. Which makes it basically 2 main pulse unaware big main and small pilot.

I wouldn't reduce the PW of the pilot. With larger injectors you might actually have to increase it in the lower fuel pressure areas

What brand injectors and what are the idle quantities? If the idle quantities are out of spec (one main fuel company does this) they'll be a royal pain to get idling nice and clean.

It looks like your log file is in PSI (SAE) but the tune table is in MPa (Metric). I believe they both have to match to highlight correctly.
