rod bearings

I am rebuilding a motor for my truck as the first one finally gave up the ghost after 255k my question is i went to order rod bearings and there was 2 options one forna rod stamped with an A and one with a B is the a differance in them or can i just order a clevite H series set and it will be good?

Are you ordering bearings from GM or Clevite? I've never seen Clevite list A or B bearings; I've only seen GM differentiate between the two. That said, they will mix the rods in the same motor; they aren't all A or B rods.

I was pricing them from the parts store they were clevite but they asked me what rod they were i just went ahead and ordered a set from a vendor here instead
