ok here it is, you wanna bring this shit to the forum here we go!!!!! I have personally devoted more time and effort into your R@D then anyone is this industry has, hands down!!!!!! I have blown up more shit for you, been late night changing headers and up pipes like its just a 5 second job!!!!! ITS NOT its a pain in the ass...... BUT i did so for you and the better of this sport for all to follow behind me to buy your product and have great success in the future, i have had more magazine articles with your product on my truck than anyone!!!!! I have given you credit after credit after credit, sent many people your way!!!!! SO yes i remember you YES i have helped you as you have helped me ....... Get off me about the god dam shipping of the headers i fought for 2 years to keep in one peace!!!!!! Im over this F****** forum battling...... I have let it go the first 2 times so here i am, finally upset!!!!!!! Im on an open forum playing grade school games...... Dont send back my headers ill keep the other set and deal with them.......

OK, if you wanna throw it out here lets do it. Lets start from the beginning as best as I can remember;

1st set;

Not sure who contacted who, but you wanted a set of headers but didn't really have the $$ to spare. I said I'd set you up to beta but I couldn't foot the bill totally myself.

You said you had some stuff we could trade. We settled on some wheels and tires and some nitrious stuff. I built the headers and sent them out. I waited......and waited....and waited. I got nothing!!

Calls to you initiually just got me empty promises. Just before you quit returning my call you told me Matt was shipping them out. I'm waiting, I'm waiting,,,, still nothing. I call Matt and he says he has the stuff but no money to ship. I told him I would try to talk to you but that I needed the stuff and if need be I would pay the shipping.

I finally got hold of you and got my parts. I think I paid the shipping too which wasn't our agreement.

You had problems with the headers. I took care of any and all problems normally next day airing repairs at my cost.

Finally we decide to try something different. I told you to send the set you had back and I would send you a new set to try.

2nd set;

Send them out. Got nothing back. Called and called and called. Most of the time I got empty promises, the rest of the time I never got a returned call. Finally after months of trying to get the first set back you tell me that your grandfather threw one side away. I tell you to send the other side back. Quite a bit latter and ton's of phone calls i get one side back.

You tell me you're having trouble with one side leaking at the up pipe connection. I send you some new gaskets to try. Basically didn't hear anything from you again until I saw you at Topeka.

There I told you that I wasn't going to put up with not getting stuff returned but that I was still willing to help. You apolagized and said the headers were bitchin but you were still having problems with the one side not sealing at the same place. I said you're close to my shop, just shoot on over and we'll get it fixed up. I also offered my shop to you if you needed it to work on other things on your truck. You said you would let me know. I heard nothing till a couple of weeks latter.

I told you that I had another set I wanted you to try. You said cool. Send them out next day and you'd send the other set right back. I said you promise? You said yes.

So like a fool I once again build you another set and next day aired them out to meet your deadline.

3rd set;

Still waiting for the second set to come back. Leaving messages about once a week for a couple of months.

See you posting online and ask you to call me. .....nothing. After a little while longer I see you post again and I post again for you to call me. To my suprize you do.

You apolagize again and tell me the new header was leaking in the same place BUT that you don't think it was the headers all along. It was a shitty pedestal from one of your other sponsors and that they put their manifolds and up pipes on when they changed the pedestal. You didn't want to send that set back for inspection even though I asked you too, but you did promise to send the second set back.

You said that you wanted to put the 3rd set back on. I said OK and waited.....and waited....and I'm still waiting.


So here's the summary.

I have sent you three sets of headers when you never even held up to your end of the first sets deal. I've never asked for any reimbursement on any of the next day air or repair charges I have incurred.

ALL I EVER ASKED FOR WAS YOU TO SEND THE PREVIOUS SET BACK WHEN I SENT YOU A NEW SET!! So far the only thing I have got back is 1/2 of a set!!!!!! And to make matters worse the only way it seems to get a reponse from you is to follow you here and post. I'm sure I've forgot some stuff here. I have no doubt you'll remember some, but I've posted what I feel is a good explanation on why I can't deal with you anymore.

I'm currently out 2 1/2 sets of headers and tired of chasing you around trying to get you to do what you faithfully promised you would do. I don't learn anything from not getting product back for inspection except sadly not to trust anyone and help them as I have you.

In the hopes of salvaging this I'll make you a deal. Send me 2 sets back and I will pay you back half of what you gave me on the first set and we'll call it a draw. I wish you no bad luck and I never have. I just can't deal with someone that doesn't do what he says he will.

You seem to be leaving out all the in between dont you!!!!! SEEMS FUNNY all you can manage to tell everyone is that one little leak to protect the truth over the years!!!!!! You have been sending me these headers for years!!! I have blown them up on the dyno, on the track and on the street!!!! You want what rick wants, and what rick wants only... Dont go blaming PPE for the headers I SAID i was not sure.... but i had a problem everytime non the less, i had had many pedistals over the years!!!! Chance that they were all off....... hummmmm slim i would say..... The one thing i have had in common over the years breaking, is your product...... with out fail i kept quiet and just made them work!!!! Your headers and UP pipes are not worth all the labor i put in I will tell you that right now!!!!! You dont seem to remember all i did for you as well..... I keep ONE set you have back the 1/2 and the pile of scrap metal i sent back and move on!!!!!!...... AS far as that im done with you and anything you make!!!!

I never mentioned PPE. You did. You are also the one that brought it up in our last phone discussion. You two should be able to get along just fine.

In the end I NEVER did anything but try to help. If you had wanted a spare set you should have said something.

You signed up to test my product but now you want to complain about having too. You're not a good tester if I never get the product back to see how and what failed.

I've done what I agreed to (and more) from the beginning and now it's over. I know I'm not the first to have these sort of problems with you and I hope you learn from this. Do what you say you're going too. If you tell someone you're going to send something back then do it. Your grandpa wouldn't have been able to throw that 1/2 set away if they would have been on the UPS truck.

For the record I'm not bashing Dimitri's accomplishments or what he's done for the Dmax community. I applaud him for that. I just wish he could have done it without the broken promises & public attacks.

I did mention ppe yes... I mentioned them in a way of asking advise to see if you had an input on why i kept blowing that header gasket!!! warping headers!! they kept failing!!! I asked questions rick... questions.... I needed answers so i could drive half way across the country to race and feel good about my set up.... So i asked you if you thought the pedistal could have been off.....Still giving your product the benefit of the dought even tho i had broken so many things..... We should be able to talk right... questions dnt lead to throwing people under the bus do they!!!!!????

Im not bashing you either !!!!! Your product is well made its spot into the dmax community.... i hope i have helped with this.... you of all people know the power i push and the affects it has on parts.... I break everything... always have and will continue till i quit!!!

You know what bothers me most Dimitri is that on the phone the other day or even face to face at Topeka you said none of this.

I would have done anything I could have to helped you out had you have just said something. I remember offering to help pay for a trip to a race one time but you never went. I just got tired of empty promises on returns and getting the run around trying to contact you. I contacted you the only way I knew you would get. I posted here and look what I got for it.

My challenge to PPE was not about this product. They do not make headers. It was about manifolds and up pipes which Dimitri has never had a set of mine, but that challenge still stands.

I tried calling and settling this offline but you never answered and never returned the call. You wouldn't even talk to me when I called Dan and you were there with him. Man up and do what you promised.

I still have everything you sent me less the tires. In an effort to settle this I'll pay your ransom by sending it all back to you. All you have to do is send me my 2 sets of headers back 1st.

Id rather hand you the headers in person.. We can then discuss the payment you think you owe me!! You either have the tires or you dont?? Everytime you choose to call people for product chances are i was testing it 7 years ago!!!!! so you could have a proven and tested product.....RICK LANCES PRODUCT IS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF THAT STATEMENT and look at him cry... EXAMPLE A.... Does anyone know how many times there have been products and situations where i tested sooooooo many products we all enjoy, and spent the labor hours and labor hours to perfect!!!! You dont see me on here crying tho.... this is the first time i really just wont back down... This industry will use you until you break, then when time comes your opinion and work means nothing !!!! Im owed 10,000 plus from people i did favors for that i will never see.... I still do favors everyday!!! Do you see me on the net crying about it NOOOO... Personally I believe people deserve the truth whether it helps or hurts me.

Dimitri bought one set of headers from me and now has 2 1/2 sets. He agreed to play and now he wants to change his mind and get payed for it. I'm not into that but I certainly don't want him to have my product for free. Especially when he claims to dislike it so much. He started this and I'll be more than happy to go the distance. I believe I can even get a few others involved that have complaints about him.

People should know who are standing behind their words so they can decide who to support.

I've told the moderators here to do whatever they think is right with this but the facts still remain the same. D traded some parts for a set of headers. He never even completed that transaction. I was foolish enough to send him two more sets to play with believing he was a man of his word and would indeed return the stuff.

So far I've got 1/2 of one set back. There was a box come in today though. I'll open it in the morning to make sure of what it is and post the contents then.

All I can say is do you homework before dealing with anyone.

Rick and i just spoke on the phone for the better part of the hour.... We both said sorry to each other and agreed to stay friends.. I will be running his headers on my red truck for the remainder of the season.. This has got out of hand and needed to be resolved over the phone.. We both agreed it does no one any good in this case and to close as friends and continue on.. Rick received his headers today and will be using them for testing and R@D.. Mods and the community i am sorry for the drama and will strive to learn from this!!
