Just wanted to check with you guys to see if EfiLive scan tool have the reductant quality test for resetting the low quality DEF fluid after cleaning or replacing the sensors. I've been looking at the DVT controls and didn't see any that looked like it. I saw plenty of other tests and resets but not that one. is it labeled something else? or is this a Tech 2 only?

uncle's 2014 Duramax is showing this message. he cleaned the #2 nox sensor along with dropping the DEF thank and flushing it clean and refilled it with fresh DEF. I ran a service regen afterwards and it looks like the nox sensors are working with the #2 nox sensor reading much lower then the #1 nox sensor. he is now down to 4 mph and trying to avoid him having to get it towed to the dealership

I've fixed so many of them to give me the impression that they do not initiate the quality test on their own..... unfortunately

You will probably need the MP808. You need one that does bidirectional testing. Research it very good first.

thanks, I'll look into the MP808 over the MK.

never heard of the nano version of the tech 2. I'll have to check that out. I'd be more inclined to push for a Tech 2 over another as I think it'd be more compatible with the vehicle but having compatibly with other brands is enticing too
