Rear corner drip molding leaking

This little strip of trim or drip molding is causing a leak. How is this installed? Is it just glued/sealed into place? Can I just run a bead of silicone under it and squish it back down?

I'd use epoxy or polyurethane before I put silicone on it

The Moulding is double sided Tape and it might have 1 peg that it lines up on. The caulking is whats leaking.

I would pull the moulding up, strip the caulking, clean the rust and then seal the bare metal. After that you can install new seam sealer.
