Okay, now you guys have me a little confused on the variety of sensors. I recently bought all of the factory Duramax rail pressure sensors, and they were listed as follows:
P/N, Thread size, engine series
0281002767, 12mm, LB7
0281002864, 18mm, LLY
0281002755, 18mm, LBZ & LMM

The LB7 and LLY sensors had one curve, while the LBZ/LMM sensor had a higher pressure curve. Does this match what everyone was expecting?

You will definetly require some sort of HP adapter to fit the LBZ into the LB7. Do you guys sell some sort of machined adapter Dan?

I suppose you could machine an adapter to put the 18mm sensor into the 12 mm hole, but I think the 12mm uses a face seal washer, so the adapter would need to incorporate the features for the washer to seal. I would be VERY wary about using adapters with 26000+ psi in the system!

So... No pot metal fittings:rofl:

I thought about it after and i could just put the sensor in the rail on the PS closest to the fire wall:) remove the plug and replace with the lbz sensor....I think anyways

Yes, that is what I do. Pull the plug at the end of the rail and depending on year of LB7 you can just install LBZ sensor or you have to drill a feed hole through the pellet so fuel can get to the LBZ sensor.;) Works for me. I take it we still don't have the older trucks rail pressure gauges available??? Are we ever going to?:(
