Truck kept throwing a p0102 and an occasional p0101. I went to ORiellys and bought a Borg Warner MAP sensor and replaced. truck had no power/boost I guess and would throw a p0238. Went and exchanged it for another and same thing. Checked wiring and all was good. Finally put old sensor back in and solved the problem of no power/boost. Not sure what to do if keeps throwing code? Truck is completely stock.. What does one have to do, buy a sensor from dealer? Will the sensors from parts stores not work in these trucks?

P0102 and P0101 deal with the MAF not MAP. P0102 is normally a leak somewhere in the intake tract, and P0101 can be from an aftermarket air filter or any other number of reasons.

Thanks for the info and correction. Seems like in some of my google search for the codes I was getting lead back to MAP but maybe im wrong on that. Ive done so much reading about different things on lb7 I forget now how I ended up with the MAP sensor.. What would still be the cause for the issues I was having when I put the new MAP sensor in?
