My first Mike L converter wouldn't hold shit and would shutter on the street at anything over 80 mph. I'm a stock turbo regular cab and my stock converter didn't do this. I wanted a bullet proof stocker exact replica. I got a POS and a bunch of shavings in my trans. I could brake stall the first converter to 5000 within a second if I wanted I pulled it 2 times. My 2nd converter has the dodge stator, whatever that means. The converter is jumpy over all and I'm not impressed, my fuel mileage went to shit and it tows like it's half the truck it was, if it doesnt rev it wouldn't go anyplace. Personally I wish I could get my good low mileage stocker core back as I think I would shelf this unit until later. I daily drive my truck and truck pull in the summer so take that into consideration. My stock converter would always let me spin out at the end of the track when it unlocked and this one will stall the truck. Whats the point of a torque converter?
