Not sure where to post fuel sender question

I have a 2002 Duramax. The fuel sender is crapping out. So, I took the GM number and crossed it over on Ebay. I bought it but wonder is this sender also a fuel pump. It said it would work on my truck

We can not see what you bought so its impossible to know. I guess you can tell us what you receive it.

What I can tell you is that the diesel sending unit in these trucks is attached to fuel bucket assembly but it does not contain a pump.

As Brick said, no fuel pump on the diesels.

A link to the item purchased or at least some photos can help us determine if you got the right one

I note that many GM descriptions of the device in the fuel tank call it a 'fuel pump'. Confuses lots of people.
