The other day my son ran some errands to 4 locations. In out of problems except for the last one in the heat of the afternoon. When he got back in the truck stuck in the key and no crank. Had all the dash lights and radio but no starter engagement.
Called rollback to bring it home and dropped it off in front of the house. Tried to crank it on wrecker and on the street, no changes. We were in the middle of a funeral for my mother-in-law and couldn't do anything else. Went to pull truck into the driveway with tractor but thought after two days sitting what the heck. Climbed in and it cranked right up. Not sure why but it didn't crank after a 20 mile trip on wrecker from the vibrations .
I just replaced both batteries couple of months ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar situation with my 08. Not sure if the computer froze or what. But a quick disconnect of the batteries and she fired right up

I've heard that the fuse block circuit board can warp and cause weird issues that randomly come and go. Posablely an area to inspect or replace if the issue comes back
