Doing an MPG test, every day to and from work like I typically do. No changes to the tune during this time. So far it looks promising. Normally It'd be about 300-320 miles when the needle is at half a tank. Right now it's almost 300 miles and it's just under the 3/4 mark. If this keeps up, it could easily be 50 additional miles per a tank. Possiblity even 100 miles. 600+ miles per a tank should be what it should be doing, but I've normally only gotten 500-550 miles.
600 miles should put me at about 42 MPG. Many report this being the low end of what they get. 700 is commonly reported with a few hitting 800. A small crowd has even gotten 1000 miles when at 100% highway and driving favorable conditions. 700 would make me very happy.
To optimize the MPG, I may have.to get one of those glow plug pressure sensors and see what the pressure curve is. But I'll probably do the long slow method of tweaking the timing little by little and try and track every drop used
