Unpopular opinion but Imho, wendy was no longer wendy when it was bought. Color changes, turbo changed, and other changes.

It holds tight to us only because the McSwains owned it and Kat could drive the shit out of it but they didnt see it as that special of a truck or it would have been donated to a museum or kept it. Even Casper would fall into this.

Theres a list of trucks that have just gone away, its how shit goes cause we cant keep them all and fads/whats cool changes and Boys, we aint the cool crowd anymore lol.

This is a large reason i got the limo back. Alot of history for me and what i/we brought up in the az diesel performace world. At one point, it was AZ’s fastest dmax for a year before bri bri finally built his race truck. Its fallen away from the times though as im not in the mainstream any more. No one knows “the limo” anymore but im fine by that. They find out when it breaks hearts lol
Unfortunately facts! White Lightning is the same way, the young crowd doesn't know anything about it but my older customer base always asks about it or they try to get me to sell it and my wife won't let me. I hate to say it out loud but we are the old farts now and it sucks!

Before you kick the bucket. White down all your tuning knowledge for all us young farts. You know, to carry on your legacy.... 🤣

Sadly I didn’t know the Limo or Wendy, to prove your point I suppose. Loved your statement “we ain’t the cool crowd…”. I may never have been the cool crowd, but I’m definitely not anymore per your statement. Funny how that happens, phrases fade, jokes or memes fade, movie references fade. Hell at work the other day I referenced field of dreams and got blank stares from the 20 something’s (I’m only 44, but it’s apparent my references are aging…even Tommy Boy misses some people, or Joe Dirté ).

However, just because we’re not cool…it’s still fun to “break hearts” still every once in a while and create some wonder about what was 15-20yrs ago!

That's funny. Same age. My Mom was watching a show and as I was walking by a character was holding a photo. I glanced at the TV just in time to see it and immediately recognized it. Was Kevin Costner from field of dreams. Ooo. Rewind.. there, Kevin Costner in that photo. Oh, yeah. Looks like from that baseball movie, me, field of dreams, her, yes, that one.
