Nice. With the crap I got from work it was slippery as could be, but if you put shot in it it would fix it but it was hard to wipe up oil with a rag

Yea you dont want to use steel shot one bcause its round and like you said is ahrd to clean. square edge white aluminum oxie is the best. but 200 grit so theres just a slight bite. you also may of gotten a slovnated base expoxy makes a big diff in friction

You need to sell that sht to the russian's Tommy. They put tile down inside and outside all their buildings and you probably don't know what tile is like when it is frozen with ice or snow on it. But I'll tell ya it is worse than a skating rink.

And it's not like they did it to one building and said "o sht this ain't good!" They did it EVERYWHERE and still do.:banghead::doh:

Well, the floor is going to need some help. When you touch the floor, you get silver paint on you. Something never dried/hardened. The color rubs off.

Anyhow, even though the garage is not signed off yet, we started to put stuff in it. My plan is to go "up" for long term storage, so I got a 180" tall x 144" wide x 42" deep storage rack with 6 shelf levels. It will support about 3600 lb per shelf, or 23,000 lb total. It will double as a workbench, as one level will have a thick wood topper on it. I bought a rolling ladder so I could access the upper levels. Top shelf is 15' up in the air. Here's pictures of Robert and Tom helping install it:

We do too. You can get a lot of windows on them. Racking is in my plans if I ever get to build a shop.

That shelving is the same stuff we have. It's great. You can towmotor stuff on it and keep on stacking.

We have those same shelves also at work. We use them to keep spare motors and trannys on. They are heavy duty.

I hope one day to have a shop like that.

Well we can't afford a forklift right now If he wants to use one. He will have to figure out how to bring the one home for the shop or rent one
