Looking for someone who could possibly send me a picture of the wiring and plug that is for the map sensor and barometric pressure sensor. On my lly the barometric pressure sensor is located under the two main wiring harness connectors and map is on the driverside top of engine. The wiring diagram says the plug with all striped wires is for the barometric pressure and the map is a orange and black and a light green and gray. Is this correct? Mine is swapped from what the diagram say (a shop had done work to it ) I'm getting a barometric pressure sensor high voltage. I'm getting the 5v I'm needing so don't think its wiring so I got a new ac delco barometric pressure sensor. Installed it and I get high boost code. Had a new waste gate and harness installed when I replaced turbo 5 months ago. Swapped the old sensor back in and now get the high volts for the barometric. Replaced the map sensor with ac delco and nothing changed. The kicker is if I unplug the map sensor i get a code for no signal for the barometric pressure sensor. I unplugged the barometric and get the low turbo boost. This is freaking confusing.
P.s. new to diesel but not engines.
Going to go through wiring harness but what to verify which plug(all stripped ) or one stripped and two soild.
Thanks in advance

This posting reminded me of a problem I read about on another forum. I don't want to confuse the issue presented here by postng the the link, but, better to have too much info vs not enough.

Some listings for MAP sensors do not lead to the correct sensor part number. See the duscussion at https://www.duramaxforum.com/thread...1045454/page-3?post_id=12706293#post-12706293
I think you just helped me brother. I checked and both map sensor i have are the superseded map sensor. Doing a search to find the correct one. Thanks hopefully this will solve my headache.
Will update when I get my new sensor.
