I ran a set a few years ago. It didn't end well for me. Beta testing sounds cool but it can cost the tester a lot of money and time.

I haven't heard a thing about them since.

I saw a set fail in a cummins and it was bad.

Even the Cummins guys only have a few sets floating around. I think they figured out it was pointless in a light duty diesel.

Well, first, swole got a set. If you know who he is, I bet you can guess what happened to that engine.

When you seize a wristpin and chit hits the fan, that rod spinning around now has a steel hammer instead of an aluminum slug on the end.

Long story short, sometimes the only thing left holding two ends of the block together is the head. But I have no idea what happened to Robs engine.

They're popular in the HD diesel side, but they don't spin 4k+ rpm. And they STILL have their drawbacks.
