Thanks, you are right, not sure where I got MAF "Flow".... sensor, probably another vehicle.
BTW, I'd be interested in thoughts on the following: the sliding little white lock is what I broke, it seems problematic to say the least. The new replacement connector is exhibiting the same difficulty in moving that locking tab. Since you already have to push down on the tab to mater the connector how about not sliding the white tab in? It seems like this "sliding in of the tab" is a double lock as you've already got the miniature ramp holding the connector on the MAP sensor.

This connector has multiple uses. If you Google the part number and then start looking at the various applications that come up, you will get the idea.
