I have 02 engine with 285000 miles on her. Sometimes when I need to start truck out fast like from a stop to enter the freeway. It will doggy and spit black smoke times the I was told it was the fuel regulator. And could it be the regulator. Also at idle after it warms up the idle goes up and down. Is the regulator causing all this. Also if anybody has change on what size star wrench did you you use
