I am tuning a 2010 lmm with EFI live I am new at tuning and trying to learn I've done three 05 an one lb7 and an lbz now I'm working on lmm, I built a turbo for it, it is a 63mm with a nine blade, it runs decent but it white smokes when you give it light throttle from a stop, if you drive it like you mean it everywhere it's fine, and I don't think it's oil because it doesn't smell oily it smells more like an old tractor, I would just kinda like to know what you guys think maybe it is in the tuning or maybe something else, but I'm kinda feeling like it's something I'm doing in the tunes. Thank you

Would it make a difference in all of it if it has been on the weight loss program?
I can if the tune doesn't correctly accommodate the changes
We don't discuss that here, so if it is that's something you going to have to figure out on your own.
It's ok to discuss it here. Just need to be mindful of what you post. Means and methods aren't really going to be a problem. That info is plastered all over this forum already. No hiding it now. Where it gets dicey is when you mention names and people doing this or providing this service

Sorry for all of that I figured that much, on the answer, and I know it's a hush hush discussion I just did know if that would make it smoke like that with that being done because of it or not. Basically what I'm trying to say is if you put a stock tune on something like that it would still do it because of that? And with that turbo being a kit not a drop in, if it was oil it would smoke all the time? Correct? Or am I wrong. It doesn't have any oily type residue coming from the exhaust and it doesn't smell like oil, like I said it smells like an old farm tractor when it lets out the white smoke. And like I said I am sorry for mentioning any of that

From what and I know and experience, oil will be more blueish gray. Coolant and unburnt fuel is white but the smell is distinctly different. Partially burnt fuel is black. Fully burnt fuel is clear

Based on what you describe, I'd lean towards unburnt fuel. Likely a tune related issue.

Are you doing the tuning or farming it out?

What kinda timing are you running? Are you messing with the pilot at all?

Use the stock fueling, timing and boost values etc... However certain parameters will need to be changed so that it runs correctly and does not set a code. Truck will run like stock minus the exhaust.

I would post a log of where you are seeing issues. Random numbers do not help much.

It doesn't smell sweet tho, it only does it when you take off from a stop like normal it is clean in the beginning and then around 3rd gear at 1500 rpm it starts white smoking really good but if you punch it it cleans up and your clean driving, but I do notice that it feels kinda lazy when it does it until I punch it to clean it up
