A couple months ago I traded my 05 in and got a new 16 z71 Ltz. I'm curious what's out there for lighting upgrades. I've tried searching but can't seem to find anything. Thanks in advance

Are you looking for performance or looks? Performance wise, do a retrofit with a of proper HID projectors. There are brackets out to bolt in FXRs. :thumb:
That's more what I was hoping was to go toward led

I thought 16's where halogen still. I've been out of this stuff for so long it's basically like starting over lol. So I was kinda looking to see what others have done.
My 16 has hid from the factory, I can't imagine anything brighter and still be legal. People flash me all the time, it's annoying when your lights are oem. I did add a set of morimoto xb LEDs to the fogs, they are great bc they are directional, they don't blind on coming cars...
Well I guess they are hid unless that's a Denali option?
I think hids are on gmc only, my bad I forgot.
The LTZ chevys have HIDs.
It's easy to tell, if there a bright as f*** white/crystal color then there hid, if there not obnoxious and yellowish..there halogen
Well they are pretty bright but I feel like they are yellow. I'll have to figure it out lol

If I wasn't 2000 miles away from my truck then I'd look at them. I'm in a hotel and bored so I was gonna spend some money for when I got home lol

You might have issues with the heat sink fitting in side the housing. Check the depth of the housting if it has a cover behind the bulb. You may want to check out the Putco LEDS http://www.putco.com/products.cfm?action=ProductView&Product=C43BD689-1372-636C-DD3F-59C6F4E8983B&Category=2D6754BD-9BE8-C408-AE66-FD8037D1078D&bulbtypeid=55C7310C-22D5-42EA-A309-3B5C1F53E52Bwith the flexible heat sink. I think the Putco's go for $150 is on Amazon. For fog lights check out the Morimoto Led fog. I think they bolt in place of the factory housing.
Just call retrofit source. They know exactly what works and replace anything quickly that doesn't. At least that's my expirence...
